Quick answer
Solo survivor wants a reliable build.
The build idea
Solo queue is harder because teammates do not always share plans. A beginner solo build should answer three questions: where is the team, where is the killer pressure, and how do I survive one bad chase?
Recommended structure
Use one team information perk, one map information perk, one chase perk, and one objective or recovery perk. This keeps your build balanced instead of turning you into a pure hider or pure chaser.
How to play it
Repair early, rotate away from crowded generators, watch hook states, and use information to rescue at the right time. A solo survivor who stays productive is much more valuable than one who only avoids danger.
Do solo queue survivors need self-healing?
Sometimes, but self-healing is not always the best use of time. Information, safe rescues, and generator progress often matter more.
